An affluent suburb of Nashville, Brentwood is an upscale city in Tennessee. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total population of 23,445 spread over a total area of approximately 41 square miles.

Apart from the fact that its county, the Williamson County is ranked the wealthiest among all the other counties in the country, it holds the distinction of being Tennessee’s best educated city. Brentwood is also home to many natural parks and to several national headquarters.

Although, much of Brentwood’s prosperity was destroyed during the Civil war, just like the other states of Tennessee, like phoenix it rose from the ashes after it was rediscovered in 1920. Gradually many of the plantation homes were bought and restored. With the construction of the Interstate in the 1960’s Brentwood grew and prospered and by the 1990’s the area was again one of the richest in the state.
